Manchester Communication Academy (MCA) is a mixed, non-selective school serving local children from North Manchester. At MCA, we believe passionately in the power of an excellent education to transform lives and provide new opportunities for young learners. We provide an exciting and challenging experience for young learners in a supportive and caring environment. Our lead sponsor is BT, who has a long and successful record of involvement in education. Technology has always been at the forefront of enhancing teaching and learning at MCA. We believe this puts us in an excellent position to drive the Digital Schoolhouse project.

As part of the Digital Schoolhouse program we deliver a variety of sessions which range from learning about E-safety and algorithms to coding games using Scratch. The sessions are delivered through play based and interactive sessions in which students take part in unplugged activities in order to to demonstrate key computing concepts.
