Dunoon Grammar School

Welcome to the Dunoon Grammar Digital Schoolhouse!

Join us for a high tempo, fun filled, thought provoking, creativity crammed zinger of a computing science workshop!

So what technology will we be using in 10 years time? The iphone 25, the Playstation 11 or the Nintendo Swish?

It won't be down to the creative talents of your teachers or parents to create the technology of the future - but it could be down to you! We can help get you started on your computing science journey. From creative coding to computational thinking and digital skills for life - there is a computing science workshop sure to perk your interest.

Dunoon Grammar School has a growing reputation for championing creative computing science, receiving a number of accolades including the Apps for Good UK School of the Year, becoming the first Scottish school to receive the JA European Entrepreneurial Award and the first Scottish school to showcase at World Education Week.

Sessions are available each Thursday afternoon during term time for Primary 5-7 learners.

Although we would love to have you visit us in person at our Digital Schoolhouse, we need to follow national Covid guidelines. Until you can come and visit, we are delighted to deliver live sessions via Glow to primary schools in Cowal, Argyll and Bute and beyond.

To book or find out more about our free, creative computing science workshops, P5-7 teachers should complete the form below or email Paul Gallanagh, Lead Teacher.

We look forward to hearing from you!
