DSH & Ubisoft host Just Dance tournament at DCMS

We had the pleasure of hosting a very special Just Dance tournament at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) for their Bring Your Children to Work Day.

Ubisoft led the esports tournament for ages 5-11 years; perfectly blending physical activity and games to the delight of our young audience.

Amongst a day of various activities to challenge even an inkling of Summer holiday boredom, Stefan and Katie from Ubisoft led the afternoon tournament to reinvigorate any post-lunchtime slump.

To kickstart the session - after a very excited mob during setup - children were divided into groups in order to design their team logo and create their signature dance move. Barraged with an assortment of coloured felt tips, pens and paper, they had a calming start to get their brains engaged and moves warmed-up.

Once logos had been created, the dance-off commenced, and whilst parents continued to look on in the audience, teams made their way through smash hits including ‘Daddy Cool’, ‘Another One Bites the Dust’ and many more.

The final saw littlun’s compete for the highly coveted boogie-worthy booty including: Just Dance Switch 2018, PS4 Starlink Starter Pack, Starlink Ships and more.
