Following the annoucement at Ukie’s AGM, we return with our third national esports tournament and we are delighted to announce that the competition once again features the popular game Overwatch® by Blizzard Entertainment. Last year’s tournament succeeded to reach over 2,000 students who participated as either players or as part of the school or college’s event management, social media, press and community team.
Cryptonite crowned UK Champions 2018!
Four of our regional champions from across the UK headed to Gfinity’s London arena yesterday, to battle it out for the coveted trophy, designed by a father-daughter duo representing Creative Assembly. After fierce competition playing Blizzard’s Overwatch, Cryptonite for The Crypt School came out on top and went home the winners.

This week saw a dramatic end to the programme’s national esports qualifiers, with two additional teams joining last week's Regional Champions after battling it out on Twitch's homepage to an audience of 675+, playing Blizzard's Overwatch.
