Esports Tournament

Ukie's Digital Schoolhouse powered by PlayStation, delivers its annual esports tournament to schools across the UK, which aims to engage students with careers in esports and the video games industry. Following this year's tournament, a total of 20 schools participated, reaching 2.2k students and accumulating over 98k views on Twitch alone.

In 201 7, our inaugural tournament saw 460 students compete from four schools across the country. Fast forward to 2018 and our esports tournament has quitupled in size. With the last tournament already making waves in schools nationwide, we aim to reach even more students in the next academic year, presenting a unique insight into the Creative Digital sector to encourage homegrown talent in the UK.

Besides competitive game play, DSH immerses students in careers education by connecting them with industry professionals and facilitating work experience for young people in ‘behind the scenes’ real-life roles.
